Hi ppl,

Well.. in the end, we did not make it through, and it's a fact. So let's take it in our stride!

As Mr Koh says, " we can't control the outcome, but we can control the response to the outcome! ". I think that is a really nice statement!

Cheer up everyone, we have done ourselves and the school proud! Throughout the competition, we have displayed nothing less than our strongest fighting spirit! In the prelims round, though one of you was sick, the rest worked hard and gave your very best to bring the group through to the next round! As mentioned in my previous posts, i am super impressed by the grit and determination shown by the 1A-lians. Even though Xing Guang Bao Bei was 3rd by the judges standard, you did not give up! Knowing that the fight is far from over, each of you had tried so hard to fight for the other 50% of the unknown result.

On my msn, i see all of you using your nicks as advertisements to try and get your frens to support you, my president ah NEO smsed me to vote more, ah LEE was in low spirits cos she was worried that you all might not make it through, and even Yu Ting wanted to sign a contract with me immediately to become my fan club recreation leader in order to exchange for more votes! So you can see, if you all were not serious abt winning, why make so much effort to garner support from everyone? If you had not taken pride in your performance, you would have just sat back and relax, and wait to be kicked out naturally. But because all of you showed such a strong desire to get through to the finals, i was really touched, and called more than my initial budget for yesterday night. It doesn't matter that all the calls have vanished into thin air now, because i'm glad, that i had played a part, and held a stake in a team called XING GUANG BAO BEI!

Dunno if i will have the chance to be back in KSS as a teacher again, but in case i don't, here's to all 1A-lians:

You are the BEST and nothing less than the best in my heart. Thanks for putting up a good fight.

Dreams are certainly illusive, but you have believed that they can be caught. And in the quest, i see everyone putting in their best effort. For all the perseverance shown thus far, i would say, 1A has proven itself to be a cut above the rest!
